Kristian Roggendorf - Beyond the Briefcase
Away from work and his ongoing study of the law, Kristian stays busy as a husband to Heather and a father to two young children. When Kristian's not working on home improvement projects or fixing things the kids break, the family enjoys hiking in the Columbia River Gorge, the Willamette Valley, and the surprising number of hikeable parks throughout the metro area.
On these family jaunts, Kristian and Heather encourage their kids to learn about the natural world along the way. This means that Kristian gets to pick up snakes, frogs and bugs for them to look at and, if they're feeling brave, hold for themselves. If it's raining too hard or just a bit too cold for young ones, the family enjoys electric trains, puzzles, and video games.
