Matthew D. Lowe is a partner in the law firm of O’Donnell Clark & Crew LLP.His practice areas include representation of hotels, restaurants, small businesses, as wells as charitable and non-charitable tax exempt entities in handling matters relating to corporate governance and formation, taxation, employment, real estate transactions, charter schools, campaign finance, state and federal elections and government.Matt is a member of the Oregon, Washington and Multnomah County Bar Associations, the American Society of Association Executives and the Oregon Society of Association Management and serves as legal counsel to various state and national trade associations, including the Oregon Lodging Association.

For six years, Matt taught Hotel, Restaurant and Travel Law at Mt. Hood Community College and writes monthly articles on various legal topics for the Oregon Lodging Association’s monthly newsletter, and other publications.Additionally, he has made numerous presentations to the Oregon Lodging Association and other trade groups on various legal and public policy issues.

Matt graduated from Willamette University College of Law where he was Associate Editor of the Willamette Law Review.Matt’s undergraduate degree is from Villanova University where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in History in 1991.From 1993 to 1995, Matt served as a Legislative Assistant to U.S. Senator Bob Packwood and served as Chief of Staff to Oregon State Senator Tom Hartung in the 1997 legislative session.
