I was absolutely stunned to read the Oregonian&#039;s article about Horenstein&#039;s desire to teach again, and related comments that she should be given a second chance.  I don&#039;t care if she became Mother Teresa.  Her offense ran so deep and so damaging that I was appalled and offended by all the publicity and support she got.  Horenstein&#039;s passion may be with teaching children, but she violated a most sacred trust.
